Blue cloth over decorative boards. Exterior and interior fresh and clean. A fine copy in near fine first-state dust jacket. Jacket has 1/4 inch tear near top of spine. One of 2,000 copies designed and printed by Clifford Burke, al. Though at least half of the copies were destroyed. This key reference book explains the mechanics of letterpress printing, design fundamentals, paper, ink and binding, etc. Illustrated with examples throughout printed in brick red. Many copies were lost or destroyed; the few that survived were often encased in a second-state dust-jacket.
