This is a rare gem. Super real gold gilt faced frame. California Gold Rush era image, miners, dogs, horses, coolies. It’s San Francisco bay with many sailing trade and transport vessels docked in the bay. Not the original from 1851 (which was 16×25) but a fantastic piece of a portfolio of Historic San Francisco lithographs that was done in 1972 with an Edition of 150 copies. I replaced the original glass with UV Plexiglas many years ago so there is no signs of fading, foxing or discoloration. Looks great for being 50 years old with beautiful colors and intricate detail. It draws your eye when you enter the room. It should go home on the walls of someone in the Gold Rush area of California. Over the years I received many comments and compliments from many a visitor to my home.
