Aluminum trade token that is listed in the online token database as SAN FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA. Circa 1890’s, listed in the California token book. (info found on tokencatalog. Com). Vintage 1939 World’s Fair San Francisco California Exposition Card/Game Table. See pics for item condition. Table has signs of wear but still stands. As you can see from the pics, the table is beat to hell and shows signs of damage and wear due to how old the table is. The item is not in mint condition but sure does make for a great display piece.

50 images capture the journey of a group of teenage boys taken from Los Angeles and up to the 1962 World’s Fair in Seattle. Lots of sightseeing along the ways. They go through Sacramento, San Francisco, Fort Lewis, Crater Lake, Shasta Dam and various points across three states. Approximately 14 slides were taken at the fair. The rest were taken at other locales primarily in July and August. The quality of color and definition of lights and darks is much better than my scanner is able to achieve.

Anna Chrasta, is the artist who painted this listing. The artwork is an excellent composition of Lombard Street, in San Francisco, California. According to historical records, there is not an individual to whom Lombard Street was named. The records indicate that the name was borrowed from a street in Philadelphia, PA. I find that most interesting as the two Lombard Streets have no resemblance to each other at all (I have looked to be sure). This artwork is classic Anna Chrasta. All of her paintings tell a story of her native city of San Francisco. I have spent much time vacationing there with my wife and family. The man-made and natural surroundings are very inspirational, artistically speaking. Lombard Street, has the distinction of being labeled as the most crooked street in the world. It may be the most crooked street in the USA. But I have traveled throughout Central Africa many times. You have not seen crooked streets until you have traveled in Uganda, and parts of Kenya. All of the above said it is a wonderful artwork that tells, quite perfectly, the story of the street that is recognized by traveler’s world over. I believe that the photos provided represent this artwork very well, but to see it up close and personal it is even far better. The colors are rich and bold, without sun fading. The artwork, frame, and matting are a perfect compliment to each other. It’s a beautiful piece that will adorn a family room or office very well. This item is in the category “Art\Art Prints”.
