Plans include: building a second bridge from San Francisco to Marin, building a bridge to Angel Island connecting to Tiburon, building an underwater tube linking San Francisco and Marin, and a number of lower deck options for the Golden Gate Bridge are also investigated. A graphic treasure trove of imagery, construction plans, projects, renderings, maps, and photographs illuminating what today looks like a science fictional landscape.
