Including a Trip Through Yellowstone Park. De Wolfe, Fiske, Boston. Size: apx 11.5″ x 9.5″ with 142. Binding : pictorial hardcover with gilt – plain spine. BEAUTIFULLY ILLUSTRATED WITH 85 WOOD ENGRAVINGS OF VARIOUS LANDSCAPES, CITIES, AND NATIONAL WONDERS BY THE BEST ARTISTS! What a trip back in time! It is such fun to see the cities as they were 140 + years ago, plus the old missions, mining towns, logging camps, the scenery and parks, Mt Shasta, Yellowstone, giant trees, and sights all around; plus the cities. SAN FRANCISCO, SACRAMENTO, SAN DIEGO, SANTA BARBARA. This book is designed to be a guide book for those visiting, or those unable to visit! – a little further up, you will find Mirror Lake. The best time to visit is in the morning. Also give some history. A “must have” book for any Californian! Please zoom in on. Photos carefully as they are part of the description. All of my books are VERY OLD and have 100+ years of wear to varying degrees. Very good minus condition…. Boards – very secure, back cover has a few very thin white lines on, I did not try to wash off -if you need a picture, send me a notr. Pages secure but, due to its size, it is not the strongest binding. Spine ends – very good, bit curled / some very light wear. Good / top ones are bumped – top front 1 worn through just a bit. Inner hinges – just ok / back one taped -front 1, the paper cracked and at some point was reglued -just looks ok. Pages – very clean – only few small spots / toned around the edges. Rips /folds – no rips that I saw / no folds /. All top tips bumped -see last picture. It does have its title page – gilt on cover still quite bright. PLEASE ADD ME TO YOU “SELLERS YOU FOLLOW” LIST. AND check back now and then to see what’s new! If you have trouble, contact me. It can take up to 14 days to get back East, it’s rare, but it does happen. And remember -this book is very old and may have accumulated bad smells along the way [musty basement/ mildew/ smoke] – I have found that dryer sheets in them for a few months makes a world of difference! As far as I can tell -this book has no bad smell. LIFE IS SHORT -and there are better things to do, feel free to copy my text if it saves you time!

Inner hinges – ok – looks like paper was cracked & re-glued. Pages – generally very clean, hardly any spots. Writing – very small sticker from “Rainbow book shop” on front paste down & a small stamp on rear fep shown. Rips /folds – no rips that I saw – rear end paper with a fold plus the other raer end paper with its wee tip missing. It does have a very, very, faint smell- not a bad smell, but a smell.
