Vintage 1939 World’s Fair San Francisco California Exposition Card/Game Table. See pics for item condition. Table has signs of wear but still stands. As you can see from the pics, the table is beat to hell and shows signs of damage and wear due to how old the table is. The item is not in mint condition but sure does make for a great display piece.

50 images capture the journey of a group of teenage boys taken from Los Angeles and up to the 1962 World’s Fair in Seattle. Lots of sightseeing along the ways. They go through Sacramento, San Francisco, Fort Lewis, Crater Lake, Shasta Dam and various points across three states. Approximately 14 slides were taken at the fair. The rest were taken at other locales primarily in July and August. The quality of color and definition of lights and darks is much better than my scanner is able to achieve.

Antique textured foil artwork on cardboard by. Blake, Moffitt, & Towne of San Francisco for the 1939. Golden Gate International Exposition World Fair. Center frame depicts Treasure Island and the Golden Gate International Exposition World Fair. Celebrating the creation of both the Golden Gate bridge and the Bay bridge in 1939 and 1940. Outside the frame depicts two “China Clipper”. Aircraft in flight at the top right and left, the tower at the entrance to the world fair on the left, the city of San Francisco and the bay with sailboats along side the Golden Gate Bridge itself along the bottom and right side. Last picture shows the. Blake, Moffitt, & Towne building in San Francisco. Measure roughly 10″ x 6.5″. They have some light wear, with some spots of torn foil and a few stains on the backing cardboard (see pictures), but overall good condition for their age.

There is a Birds-Eye View of Grounds with Key-Points identified on first two panels (see scan). Red Cloth Cover Hardbound Album with Embossed Gilt Lettering. Measures 5.5″ x 9″ +/. Please see enlarged images for best detail including scans showing each of the 15 unique panels. Condition: Front and rear embossed covers and spine are all in good condition except for some visible wear along edges and a small tear along top right corner. The fold-out pages appear to have been re-affixed to the inside of the front cover. The fold lines between each of the panels are in good condition with no visible tears.
