50 images capture the journey of a group of teenage boys taken from Los Angeles and up to the 1962 World’s Fair in Seattle. Lots of sightseeing along the ways. They go through Sacramento, San Francisco, Fort Lewis, Crater Lake, Shasta Dam and various points across three states. Approximately 14 slides were taken at the fair. The rest were taken at other locales primarily in July and August. The quality of color and definition of lights and darks is much better than my scanner is able to achieve.

70s Los Angeles San Francisco California Nevada Vintage 35mm Slide Snapshot Lot. Total of 160 slides. They look to be mostly from California (San Francisco, Los Angeles, etc) with some that I think are from Nevada. Gold Strike Inn (Nevada). People in front of a giant rotary dial telephone. A seal show with a sign that says Hokkaido Pilot School, Japanese Village Airfield. Some trains Camino, Placerville & Lake Tahoe Railroad, a truck with Green Mountain Railroad, some tourist attractions, etc. What I think is Catalina island. A sign that says Ndebele Village. There may be photos that are not of California & Nevada but I can’t tell. All the dates that I saw are from the 1970s. I saw 1972 & 1974, there may be others. Please see pics – I’ve posted pics of some of the actual slides so you can get an idea of the types of images you’re getting. Used, may have writing on the mounts.
