For its age [124 years old]. Boards – very secure, 1 small light spot to the back cover. Pages very secure. Spine ends – pretty good – wee bit of wear. Very good, just a wee bit of wear. Inner hinges – ok – looks like paper was cracked & re-glued. Pages – generally very clean, hardly any spots. Writing – very small sticker from “Rainbow book shop” on front paste down & a small stamp on rear fep shown. Rips /folds – no rips that I saw – rear end paper with a fold plus the other raer end paper with its wee tip missing. It does have a very, very, faint smell- not a bad smell, but a smell.
