The Midwinter International Exposition in San Francisco was similar to the World Fairs of the same time. It was staged in Golden Gate Park and covered several acres of land, presenting hundreds of exhibits mostly pertaining to California (some worldly) history, industry, agriculture and technology. Most of these exhibits, buildings, roller coasters, rides, etc. Were not built to last and are now forever lost to history and photographic images. It was attended by many thousands of people who enjoyed the unusual sights and grand scaled attractions. Originally issued in parts, this copy does not have a title page, as quite possibly none was issued. Light wear to pages including light soiling, chips, small tears; very good or better.
