Washington was from an old California family. He served as the SLO City Marshal in the 1870s and 1880s, owned the Castle Saloon in the 1880s and 1890s, and later in life served as the City Clerk. Cabinet cards are 6.5″ x 4.25″ and in very good antique condition as a whole.
