Original cabinet card, little boy riding his horse with pedestrians on the board sidewalk behind him and houses in the distance. On the back in period writing is an excellent handwritten note in period pencil: Willie age 7 years & 9 months old weight 50 pounds Billy his Shetland Pony age 4 1/2 years weight 450 pounds for Mother & Father. Willie was a member of the DePew or Vincent family (they were related by marriage). This was photographed in Stockton, California, but at this time extended members of Willie’s family lived in San Jose, San Francisco, and Great Falls, Montana. Cabinet card is 6.5″ x 4.25″ and in very good antique condition.
