California Plein Air Painting Mel Amaral Point Bonita Lighthouse San Francisco Bay. This painting is in excellent condition. There are no flaws. The entire board measures 14 7/8 inches by 11 inches. The painting measures 12 7/16 inches by 8 1/2 inches. I really think Mr. Amaral’s work combines the best elements of realism with impressionism. Also, because of the surface on which this work was done this painting has a wonderfully subtle textural quality to it. BE SURE TO CHECK OUT MY OTHER AUCTIONS. I strive to receive 5/5!! That’s they’re new system. Heavier items will cost more. So I do sometimes add a couple of dollars to the cost to cover myself. I guarantee everything I sell.
