Hardcover, Full dark leather over the front and rear boards, light brown spine leather with 5 raised bands; gilt stamped front and rear panel borders and gilt stamped spine lettering and decorations. Moire fabric paste downs and end papers, sewn in satin ribbon marker. The volume is edge rubbed with bumped corners and some chipping on the spine crown, tape on inside front, all pages clean and bright. Goodwin’s later years were spent in Salt Lake City where he continued his journalistic career and distinguished himself in Republican political circles. This work includes reminiscences and biographical sketches of prominent men Goodwin knew during his years in California and Nevada.
