Antique textured foil artwork on cardboard by. Blake, Moffitt, & Towne of San Francisco for the 1939. Golden Gate International Exposition World Fair. Center frame depicts Treasure Island and the Golden Gate International Exposition World Fair. Celebrating the creation of both the Golden Gate bridge and the Bay bridge in 1939 and 1940. Outside the frame depicts two “China Clipper”. Aircraft in flight at the top right and left, the tower at the entrance to the world fair on the left, the city of San Francisco and the bay with sailboats along side the Golden Gate Bridge itself along the bottom and right side. Last picture shows the. Blake, Moffitt, & Towne building in San Francisco. Measure roughly 10″ x 6.5″. They have some light wear, with some spots of torn foil and a few stains on the backing cardboard (see pictures), but overall good condition for their age.
