This listing is for the relatively large oil painting that you see in the photos. The signature is not easy to read but I believe that is signed E. Tojetti in the lower right hand corner. Some research tells me that it was very likely painted by Eduardo Tojetti. According to one reference that I found on the internet, Eduardo Tojetti was born in Italy in 1851 where he lived until 1867 when the family moved to Guatemala, where they lived until 1871 when they moved to San Francisco, USA where Eduardo lived the rest of his life until 1930. More information about him can be found on the internet. Most of the photos were taken outside in direct sunlight. I think that the painting looks better indoors in moderate lighting. The wooden frame measures close to 35 ¾ by 56 inches The area of the painting exposed by the frame measures close to 28 ¾ by 48 ½ inches. The framed painting weighs close to 17 pounds 8 ounces. The condition is much like you see it in the 21 photos after the general description. There is some dark matter that is mostly in the form of specks or small amounts that is mostly where you can see it in the close-up. There was more that I carefully cleaned off with a very gentle solution suitable for paintings but small stubborn amounts remain. There are some tiny specks of white where it looks like a tiny amount of paint is missing. You can see them in the close-up of the signature and a photo showing some dents in the frame. There are a few more elsewhere in the blue background. There are three white spots on the face that do not look like missing paint. There is some discoloration of the reverse of the canvas that might be from age. The rest of the painting or the frame would probably benefit from a cleaning. The paint on the painting appears to be stable without cracks. The frame has a small amount of wear. Otherwise, painting and frame are generally fine and as shown. I guarantee this painting to be as described and represented by the 21 photos after the general description. The photos are part of the description. Please look at all of them. Please know that the lighting in my photos is uneven and that there might be shadows or reflections. The colors on my monitor look close to but not exactly like the actual colors. Different monitors may show different colors. I often say that an item measures or weighs “close to” because in my opinion no measurements are exact and some things are difficult to measure. Often, I have a double wall box custom made for larger items and that might result in a short delay. When I use packing peanuts, they are usually biodegradable. Sometimes, I use used boxes. 21 photos should load with this listing. This item is in the category “Art\Paintings”. The seller is “foundfeeling” and is located in this country: US.
