1925 California Commemorative Silver Half Dollar PCGS MS65 Old Green Holder. Very nice luster with light toning along the rim. In the proper lighting you can see light color tones on the reverse lower right lower quadrant. Also color tones can be seen at portions of the rim on the obverse and the reverse. The obverse has toning but does not show the color tones like the reverse. As with any toned coin the toning, color and the intensity of the color tones changes with the lighting. Multiple photos are provided to show examples of changes of tones with change of lighting. The detail is crisp and eye catching. On the reverse the Bear’s claws, fur tufts and muscles on hind legs are very detailed as are the facial features and ears. On the obverse you can easily see the miner’s the beard and mustache. Also light design and heels on the miner’s boots are nicely detailed. Overall a 1925 S California Diamond jubilee commemorative silver half dollar with very nice eye appeal.
