1925-S California Commemorative Half Dollar 90% Silver (PCGS MS-62). The obverse features a Gold Rush prospector panning for gold. The reverse showcases a grizzly bear, the state animal. The half dollar is 90% silver / 10% copper and weighs 12.5 grams. Only 86,394 of these were struck at the San Francisco mint (mint mark is on the reverse). The coin has been professionally graded by PCGS and received a grade of MS-62. This is one of the older green label coin holders – and is not a rattler. Its a beautiful coin with some nice luster. Please see my photos for additional details. Thanks for looking and good luck!
