Vintage Original Complete Cadillac Bicycle. On the headset badge it reads; (a large letter) “C” adilac (there is only one L) San Francisco, The Bean Son Co. I was told that the Bean Son Company (BSCO) was a bike dealership located on 166 7th St. Or Third near Howard in San Francisco. This company started in 1896. I do not know if this was misspelled. I noticed the rear stand for keeping the bike erect after taking these pictures. On the down tube below the seat is a faded dealer decal. I saw another one exactly online. It reads; Bean Son Co. The decal on this bike is faded.. This appears in complete condition. Obviously, it needs to be restored. When trying to research this online I came across the name Shelby who built Cadillacs. I also read that this might be a Schwinn forerunner. On the brake coaster arm by the rear hub is written; NEW “C” within a circle and SEPARTY. On the bottom of the crank housing is written; FRN. I cannot find the serial number underneath all this crud. I was told that Kent and Hawthorne might be other bike makers related to this. This might have been equipped with 28 solid rubber tires and wooden wheels originally.. Everything else appears original.
