SIZE: 60 inches by 30 inches Retired State of California highway sign and so marked on back. This one has reflectors and is marked on back CA-73. This was the inventory date for this sign. However, I personally know that it was posted in San Francisco in the mid-1960’s when we used SF as our playground – driving our hot rods on almost every street in the City. It was a short drive from Belmont and we attended many of rock performances at the famed Fillmore Auditorium (Jefferson Starship – Jimmy Hendrix and the like). This is NOT a modern reflectorized / tape sign! Well built with metal channel reinforcements on back. He had a sale at the Lake County Fairgrounds and I just had to have it. It has survived 3 moves but now due to downsizing, it must go. AUTHENTIC ROAD SIGN – with reflectors (I see that the “R” in street is deformed and a reflector is missing). Located 2 hours North / West of Sacramento and 2.5 hours north of S.
